Photo of married footballer Yaya Toure locking lips with R&B singer Tanika Bailey surfaces

Manchester City and Ivory Coast international star, Yaya Toure, who has been married for 14 years and has three children with his wife Gineba, is clearly having an affair with British R&B singer Tanika Bailey, after intimate photos of the two of them were released. 

The 34-year-old footballer who has been married since 2004 was pictured locking lips and holding the singer in a new photo which surfaced online.

The intimate snap was shared by Tanika who recently posted a photo on Instagram and captioned it  “Tanika Touré.”

A friend of Tanika told the Sun: “They are very happy when they are together.”

A source also confirmed that the pair are an item as Tanika has fallen for him.

“They are very close. Yaya has been bowled over by Tanika and she’s fallen for him.”

PDP condemns attack on Senator Matthew Urhoghide

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned the attack on Senator Matthew Urhoghide by unruly All Progressives Congress (APC) youths at the Benin Airport on Friday describing it as 'completely inexcusable'.

In an official statement released on Sunday, the partry says 'we are miffed that the APC has degenerated to the level of misdirecting its youths and unleashing them to attack and mete out violence on law-abiding citizens including a senator of the Federal Republic.  We are equally irked that the attack happened in the full glare of high-ranking police officers in the state, who did nothing to protect the lawmaker but adopted an aloofness that emboldened the APC youths'.  

'We note that such brazen attack is recipe for wide-scale violence. But for the restraint exhibited by the PDP youths and supporters of Senator Urhoghide, there would have been a breakdown of law and order at the airport and which might even extend to other parts of the state. The PDP restates our stand in commending Senator Urhoghide for his courage in standing for the Nigerian people to move the motion for the Senate to investigate President Muhammadu Buhari for alleged violations of our constitution'.  

'The fact that the Senate and of course the House of Representatives voted in favour of the investigation shows that the motion was in tandem with the mood of the nation as well as the wishes and aspirations of the Nigerian people.  The attack on Senator Urhoghide therefore shows the intolerance  and deployment of unpatriotic acts by agents of the APC, including the invasion of the Senate and forceful removal of the mace, to intimidate the parliament and destroy our democracy.  The APC must however come to terms with the fact that no amount of attack and intimidation will stop Nigerians in their determination to vote out President Buhari from office, come 2019'.

Barcelona clinch LaLiga title for the 25th time

Barcelona have won LaLiga for the 25th time in their history after beating Deportivo La Coruna 4-2 today. The Catalans have completely dominated Spain's top flight this season and completed the job with four games to go thanks to a goal from Philippe Coutinho and a Lionel Messi hat-trick at the Riazor.  

It marks a LaLiga and Copa del Rey double in Ernesto Valverde's first season in charge and completes a remarkable turnaround in fortunes over the past eight months.  Last August, Barca had been battered 5-1 over two legs by Clasico rivals Real Madrid who triumphed in Spain and Europe last season in the Supercopa de Espana and had seen one of their MSN triumvirate depart following Neymar's lucrative sale to Paris Saint-Germain.  

Andres Iniesta will also now leave Camp Nou with a ninth LaLiga triumph with the Spain great having announced he will leave the Catalan giants after a trophy-laden 22-year association with the club.
